Aurora Aksnes, born June 15th, 1995 in Stavanger and known professionally as Aurora sometimes stylized in uppercase as AURORA is an Norwegian singer and songwriter. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is released in May of 2015 by Decca Records. It has received a lot of praise from blogs and the press. She's recorded a variety of well-known songs as covers, like Half the World Away (by Oasis), from the group Oasis) to accompany John Lewis' Christmas advert as well as Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole) and were widely appreciated.
