Aurora
Aurora Aksnes, born June 15th, 1995 in Stavanger and known professionally as Aurora sometimes stylized in uppercase as AURORA is an Norwegian singer and songwriter. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is released in May of 2015 by Decca Records. It has received a lot of praise from blogs and the press. She's recorded a variety of well-known songs as covers, like Half the World Away (by Oasis), from the group Oasis) to accompany John Lewis' Christmas advert as well as Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole) and were widely appreciated. Katy Perry, who endorsed the track Runaway from her side, gave it some more recognition. Celebrate her special birthday. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory is that of finding a piano in her attic and being awed by the sounds it would make. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes urged her to pursue music for the sake of personal development, and not as a way of earning money or to pursue as a hobby. She started writing songs of her own. She credits Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen as well as Bjork as her main influences. When her mother said that her songs can not only aid in her efforts to gain fame, however, they could also help others understand their value in the world and realize how they can benefit from the songs, she decided to begin performing publicly. The mother of her child suggested that she perform her songs publicly to help people realize the importance of their work and how they can affect the world. It was not until she turned 14 when she shared her story with her parents. Aurora's fame was not her goal. She says she just likes to compose music. She says that music is her preferred method to feel anything.
